The Hopi artisan Ernest Moore Jr.....retired in 1988 after 25 years in graphic design, but instead of getting bored at home he turned to his passion of carving. His old-style kachina figures or ceremonial “dolls” carvings have won Best of Show at the Museum of Northern Arizona Hopi Show.
